The time of large-scale leather production in the Netherlands is far behind us. Nowadays, almost all production is outsourced abroad . Despite the availability of various training courses , production in the Netherlands often remains too expensive . Nevertheless, there is still an authentic leather workshop in the middle of Eindhoven . Forty years ago, countless wallets, belts and the well-known school bags were produced on the Rechtestraat . In the past ten years, the workshop has mainly been used for repairs , because there are only a few craftsmen who master the trade. But Jules (founder) is happy to prove that this craft does not have to disappear. She learned the trade growing up among the leather . At the age of sixteen , she was already working side by side with her father in the workshop. She therefore retains the production of the leather bags in her own leather goods workshop .
